GRAMPA SAYS

Grammas ain't like they used to be!

~~***~~***~~***~~

They dye their hair and
wear state-of-the-art makeup.

~~***~~***~~***~~

They don't wear dresses
and aprons any more.
They cook and clean
and dust and wash,
in their "fancy" clothes. . .

~~***~~***~~***~~

They used to cook from "scratch"
and Mrs. Smith used to be the
neighbor next door. Now days,
the aroma of apples and cinnamon
in the kitchen means. . .
Mrs. Smith is in the oven!

~~***~~***~~***~~

And it used to be when evening came,
after a long, hard day's work,
Gramma would get out her knittin'
and relax.

Now, she has a cup of coffee
to get her "second wind"
and makes a beeline
for the computer!

~~***~~***~~***~~

And Grampa says,

"GOODNIGHT, GRAMMA!"

~~***~~***~~***~~
And sometimes, she's there til

It's Three O'clock in the Morning!
